Worldwide Travel Insurance are somewhat unique in the marketplace because they can offer the majority of their insurance products to residents from any country. Which is nice. However, having a diverse product range does not necessarily make a great customer experience.
Review
The Worldwide Travel Insurance website looks fairly straightforward from the homepage. There are a number of products available and they’re all displayed on the homepage. However, the website is devoid of any of the niceties that contribute to a good customer experience when buying travel insurance online.
How do I make a claim? Who are the underwriters? Where are links to the underwriter’s site? Why can I only get a summary of cover 2 steps into the purchase path?
All of these factors are "must have(s)" for a goods customer experience when buying travel insurance online and they’re all absent from the Worldwide Travel Insurance website.

Products
Annual multi-trip
Coverage for as many trips as you would like within any given year. Coverage includes medical evacuation, loss of documents, personal liability and travel delay.
Single Trip
Holiday insurance for people who make only one trip throughout any given year.
Longstay
Good for backpackers, this product covers long-hall travel up to 18 months.
Longstay Overseas
The same policy as Longstay, but this is available to international travellers as long as they depart from the UK or Ireland.
Wintersports
This policy is for skiers and snowboarders and covers lift passes, piste closures and hire equipment.
International Traveller
Annual, single trip and longstay policies for international travellers – i.e. not residents of the UK.
European Car Breakdown
Coverage for roadside assistance and recovery of your vehicle anywhere in Europe.
USA Car Hire
Increases your hire-car insurance coverage to include no excess and liability up to one million.
