Sureuk.com is the one and only site reviewed on Travel Insurance Compared that claims to be ‘especially tailored for women’. It is in fact a modified version of the insurance policies available on Columbus Direct, so I think their claim should be something more like ‘especially modified from an existing product – for women’.
Review
Sureuk.com starts out well with a quick loading, well structured homepage. However, this quickly deteriorates with the site becoming a mismatched collection of re-branded Sureuk.com content and standard Columbus Direct content.
One good example of this was trying to obtain a quote while the Columbus Direct site was down. The Sureuk.com content loaded perfectly but the Columbus Direct content (loaded into the rather inaccessible i-frame / i-layer) failed to load leaving us stranded.
If larger companies like Columbus Direct are going to develop new products, they should follow the finessing of these products through to the very end.
