Travel Insurance Direct without doubt have one of the most usable sites we have ever reviewed and they have gone to a not-insignificant amount of work to highlight policy details, exclusions and issues.

Suresave.Net is the 2nd largest provider of travel insurance in Australia. While they have a broad range of products,excellent reputation and functional website, it doesn't really communicate the issues very well.

Insure 4 less have launched with a clean fast travel insurance site, some sharp prices and an underwriter of impecible quality. This seems ot be achieved by focusing on the younger demographic and excluding all pre-exisiting medical conditions among other things.

Ouch.com.au is a new site in the online travel insurance market that is owned and operated – despite their best efforts to hide it – by QBE insurance. At first glance this website appears very slick and efficient, but it's what's under the hood that counts.

Worldwide Travel Insurance are somewhat unique in the marketplace because they can offer the majority of their insurance products to residents from any country. Which is nice. However, having a diverse product range does not necessarily make a great customer experience.
