Buying the policy online is fast and efficent and excellent value for money. I had a small claim on my first policy that was handled online quickly and professionally. I wish they covered people over the age of 66 as more older Australians are travelling and in need of the simple yet excellent policy offered by World Nomads.

This service seems to offer me just what I need!

These two issues made it difficult finding coverage! Medical emergencies are the last thing I want to worry about while I am on vacation, and now I don't have to. World Nomads answered all my questions quickly and with all the details I needed.

It was a great relief to finally find them, it was reasonably priced and very easy to complete online. THANKS!

We were very satisfied with the results of our claim after wondering if we would be out in the dark when we did need them. World Nomads came through with their insurance in a very timely fashion! Will definitely buy again.
8 . verlin | 11/12/2008 11:34:12 PM My wife developed complications during her pregnancy while abroad and covered with World Nomads travel insurance (met their guidelines for coverage). World Nomads provided a guarantee to a hospital when she was hospitalized over night resulting in direct compensation. They also covered all prescriptions and other related medical charges ($1,800) and processed the claim within days after receiving all the documentation. I would recommend copying all receipts in case there is any issues. We were very satisfied with the results of our claim after wondering if we would be out in the dark when we did need them. World Nomads came through with their insurance in a very timely fashion! Will definitely buy again.

They have a great cover package, you can do everything online, they are cheap, reliable, offer a variety of other services (like language guides for your iPod, travel journal, safety updates), you can choose how much to contribute to which Footprints program (and they've been doing footprints longer than most I think). I've never had to make a claim but have confidence that the process would be as smooth as the rest of it!
